Like Slipping on An Old Pair of Shoes.......

That is what my NEW Adidas Supernova Glide's felt like when I put them on for the first time to run today! The first thing I thought is, "OOOh these feel soft and comfy", and they felt lightweight as well.
I have been running in Adidas shoe already but it was a cheap one from Marshall's that was 1/2 size too small. I could tell immediately that the 1/2 size bigger was going to be much more comfortable on my toes!
The Supernova Glide's fit my foot perfectly. I am a neutral runner and they have plenty of flexibility and mild support, but the best thing is the amount of cushioning. They have a wide toe box/forefoot which allowed my toes to spreadout and not feel cramped, it also made for a more stable platform on my push off. Because of all of the cushioning and bounciness, I definately felt less stress on my knees. They are also narrow in the heel which is perfect for me as I usually have to do the "lace locking" technique to help with heel slipping in other shoes. I did not have to do that in these.

Because I always love to make a good fashion statement, I'd have to say that the yellow is a bit of a turn off, but I am learning that fit, comfort and functionality are much more important in a running shoe than style, but my shoes will NEVER match my running clothes because I do not wear yellow! Love yellow on others, but it makes me look like I am about to puke at any minute, not a good color for my skin tone!
Today I ran:
4.14 miles , time: 44:41
10:47 Average pace
(.14) - 8.41

This was a clay trail, so I have not tried the new kicks on asphalt!!

The Adidas Adizero Boston's should be here any day Can't wait to give them a try.
