  7. Why do I love your blog? Let me count these ways?
First of all, because we are almost on the same chapter in our running life! I love a fellow blogger that is going through what I am going through (We've been through this before.)
I love your funky blog design!! I want to learn more from you on this, BTW...
I love your funny sense of humor and sweet spirit, always makes me smile!
I want to see more pictures... I love pictures!! Don't we all?!

  8. fun giveaway! i would go forthe rolltop J because i like a minimal running sock. i like running socks that are cushy in the heel, which as long as it's still thin otherwise. i also like a snug arch fit.

i'm already a follower, so count me in there!

  9. Came across your blog today, and became a follower! I too am a mom of two, and running is what I do to stay sane! I'll comment again on the socks to get myself two entries : )

  10. I think the rolltop socks with the moderate cushion would help keep my plantar faciitis at bay!

    ReplyDelete
  11. Hey, check it out Tobi. You've got all kinds of followers, but you know I was one of your first;) So, you can count me in for one entry right there.

    ReplyDelete
  12. As for the Thorlo socks, Tracy and Tobi, I'd say moderate cushioning is more my speed now that Fall weather is approaching, the mini crew is my favorite as it helps keep gravel out of my socks.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Oh, and one more thing. Tobi, I love the look of your blog. I've told you that before. But I think most of all, just keep on doing what you're doing. Write about your running and record how you feel during and after your runs, things that happened, physical ailments, the triumphs, all of it. It's amazing to look back on things a year from now and see how far you've come, but also there are a lot of clues in there that will make all sorts of sense to you at some point.

  14. entry 2 - I am total sock freak. My first like 5 years of running I didn't realize what a difference the padding and moisture wicking could do, now I"m obsessed!!

    ReplyDelete
  15. I would love to try out the roll top socks. Just wish they came in more fun colors like these green ones!

    ReplyDelete
  16. I love the micro mini-crews, and the roll top looks nice too!

    ReplyDelete
  17. What I look for in running socks....tight enough that they don't get bunched up, but breathable, and cushy! The only running socks I've used are Balegas, and I've loved them, but I'm all for trying something new!

    ReplyDelete
  18. 3. I like cushy soft socks. I love socks that feel brand new every time I put them on. I want them high enough to make sure my shoe does not rub, but not so high that I get GROSS summer tan lines. I like socks that do not cause blisters on my precious feet :)

    ReplyDelete
  19. 4. I think you are doing amazing!! I love the new upgrades on your sight and I am READY to hire your husband for a Bloggy makeover.

Keep up the good work and positive attitude..

    ReplyDelete
  20. Thanks for your kind message on my blog! Love those green socks by the way!

    ReplyDelete
  21. Ok, I checked out the site. Pretty cool! I would like a review of the roll top socks, any of them. do they stay above the shoe? or do they slip down and rub?

  26. When I buy socks I look for something tight, but not restricting. I also want something cushy and breathable...I kinda like when they have the L and R on them too so I know which foot they go on! :)

  27. I loves me some thorlos! Those are the only socks I wear. I have tried super thin socks that are supposed to help keep blisters away but there is something about a cushy sock that I just LOVE.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I would like to try the micro mini-crew LRCW. I like a thin sock with a little extra cushion on the ball and heel.

  33. There is nothing I'd change about your blog! As another busy running mama, I love to hear stories similar to mine. How to juggle a family with running!

    ReplyDelete
  34. i've never worn thorlos socks, but from everyone elses comments it looks like i'm missing out...

  37. Hey Tobi,

Just dropping by to say hello and wish you well on your VERY FIRST giveaway... how cool is that! Haven't worn Thorlo socks yet, and have to be extra careful as a diabetic - nothing too restrictive that cuts off circulation. (Would like to keep my feet, t/y very much!) :) I'll check out their site and send you & Tracy some feedback.

Also wanted to THANK YOU for cruising by my blog so EARLY this morning to share your thoughts to my question (You know you're a runner when....). I believe you're RIGHT: You're definitely a runner when you are up before 6 am on a Saturday and preparing for a 7.5 miler. Reading fellow bloggies' blogs was a bonus (for me!). :) Sooo.. How DID your long run go today??

I'm headed out for mine tomorrow morning...3 wks 'til my first 10K - approaching quickly. :) (nervous, excited, nervous, excited...)

    So, fellow running, blog-reading folks,

    What would you say:
You know you're a runner when....

Have a great rest of the weekend!
    Robin

  38. Hey! I just stumbled upon your blog today! Congrats on your first giveaway. I'd love to hear a review on the Thorlo running socks with a roll-top...seems like it would be irritating.

I'm new to blogging as well but I already love your site!

    ReplyDelete
  39. I look for running socks that keep my feet dry. I have a problem. A foot sweating problem...Ha..

    ReplyDelete
  40. I am pretty much loving your blog! I love the layout and the background. Your first product review was great also! Keep 'em coming. I love hearing personal experiences about products.

  41. Tobi,
Checked out the Thorlo site, and left a msg in their CS comments box, too. I'm thinking the roll-top style might work for me.

Might need to grab a few pairs and review them myself. :) For those of us who run and sometimes have swollen ankles, these might be a great solution, with medium cushioning and loose tops. Nice! (Tracy, I want to try these!)

  42. Posted your giveaway on my blog tonight, and it's already tweeted, too. :)

  43. Five things I like about your blog:

    1. The creative skin (awesome & NOT boring)
    2. That I'm included in your blogroll (t/y)
    3. That every time I post a comment, I get to read another wacky word verification LOL
    4. That you are a fellow central FL runner/blogger
    5. Your energy and enthusiasm are so apparent

  44. Just came over here via Tall Mom! YAY for another sock giveaway. :)

I scoped out the website and I would LOVE to try the thin cusion for women.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Well, as I mentioned I am BRAND new to your blog. I'm definitely looking forward to getting to know you better and learning what you're up to. :)

I do love the look! I also love this giveaway!

    ReplyDelete
  46. I love a good sock that's BREATHABLE and MOISTURE WICKING. I love some padding on the ball and heel.. but not too thick all around.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Pretty sure I would go with the micro mini crew for women. I keep losing toenails and I'm thinking a thinner sock would do me good. :)

    ReplyDelete
  48. As far as what I look for in a sock. I like it to be cut so that it goes just above the line of my shoe. Also, I like a sock that has wicking properties to it. And if it is cute in color, that helps. :)

    ReplyDelete
  49. I just think that the layout and set up of your blog is so super cute!! I'm loving it. It seems so user friendly too with your tabs at the top. :)

  51. I've never heard of Thorlos until today (from you and Tall Mom), but I'm interested in the Experia in pink and also the women's thin cushion in either mini-crew or micro mini-crew. The dealer locator on the site was helpful. I'll have to keep an eye out for Thorlos next time I'm at my local running store.

    ReplyDelete
  52. I added you to Google Reader. I just found your blog today (again thanks to Tall Mom) and I look forward to reading more.

    ReplyDelete
  53. For running socks, I look for a snug fit and no irritating seams.

    ReplyDelete
  54. I'm new so I haven't really gotten to know your blog yet. My only feedback so far is that it would be nice to be able to post comments all at once instead of two steps. I don't mind having to do the word verification but I don't like how it's on the second screen.

    ReplyDelete
  55. You already know I'm a follower and as for socks, I would have to try whatever you recommend because I am scared to try new things!!! LOL!

P.S. Don't change a thing about your sight, I love it just the way it is! :)

    ReplyDelete
  56. I really wanna try the Thorlo Emergency and medical socks (uniform socks-moderate cushion); i could really use it :)

  57. experia's in pink is the product I am most interested in. I am not a marathon runner myself so I really wonder how much difference a pair of socks will make in the whole running/training process.
