Wow, I just used the "f" word alot ( not THAT "f" word....come on guys...i"m bad, but not THAT bad)

My oldest son, Thing 2, just started little league football and will be having practices 2-3 days a week and games 1 day a week so our next few months are about to get super busy. I often find that during these spurts of busyness, our eating habits tend to turn I am going to solve that problem before it occurs, with freezer meal cooking!!

This is gonna be a crazy, busy weekend, filled with non-stop cooking, that will result in about 25 various meals that my family can thaw and bake/throw in the crockpot, with basically no prep time!! Yay!!

I have done this on several occasions, so I have repeat recipes that we know and love and then I always try new recipes......

I found a fantastic website called ZIPLIST, that allows you to search the internet for recipes (or their site, they have 1000's) , and with a nifty downloaded tool, and a press of a button, the recipe is pulled from the site, sent to Ziplist and held in a "recipe box" . From the recipe box, you can send all of the ingredients to a grocery list that is automatically categorized by dept. for you. You can add in coupon info etc.....It is awesome!! Check it out. It is so great to have all of your recipes in one place!! The bonus is the mobile app so you don't have to print your list, it's on your phone with boxes to check things off as you get them!!!

On the menu for this weekend:
Old favorites:
Lasagna - recipe from the pasta box with a few tweaks
Shepherd's Pie - pretty basic, just a little of this and a little of that!
Cream Cheese Chicken

New recipes
Apple Roast Pork Sandwiches
Beef Stew
Chicken Taco Bake
Crockpot Black Bean Chili
Crockpot Chicken Tortilla Soup
Freezer Breakfast Burritos
Chocolate Chip Pancakes
Banana Oat Pancakes ( mix I got at World Market)
Pepperoni Pizza Puffs
Zesty freezable Pasta Salad

Wow, I think I might be a bit ambitious, but with a good plan, and a little organization, I think I can get it all done!!

I did 25 Minutes on the elliptical last night and burned 400 does that work? I run for an hour and burn 100 calories.....something is not right in that math ( and I am an accountant!)!!!

Have a fantastic weekend! I'm shooting for 2 miles at some point this weekend!!

Don't go to Happy Runner and enter her SOMNIO GIVEAWAY HERE, cuz I really need these shoes and really want to win, like alot!!!!!!
